Wulaoshan Forest Park is located 15 kilometers east of Lincang City, which is the buffer zone of Lincang Daxueshan Nature Reserve. Looking at the five peaks from a distance, it looks like five old people sitting and chatting side by side, hence the name: Wulao Mountain.

Wulao Mountain is tall and steep, with vertical and horizontal valleys, dense forests and dense vines in the mountains. Every spring and summer, the rhododendrons in the mountains are in full bloom, which is quite spectacular. In summer and autumn, the mountains are often surrounded by clouds and mists. From a distance, the five peaks are like fairy islands on the sea, which is magnificent. There are streams gurgling in the mountains all the year round, and there are large stacks of golden bamboo forests flowing down from the cliffs, forming a huge water curtain with a height of 30 meters and a width of more than 3 meters. Rare animals such as monkey-faced eagle, camellia chicken, sunbird, macaque, etc. live in the mountains and forests. It is a free kingdom where animals and plants reproduce freely.
