Wuliangshan Grottoes are located in Tianzhuang Village, Chuankou Township, 25 kilometers northwest of Pengyang County, backed by Wuliang Mountain, facing Shixia River, surrounded by mountains and rivers, with beautiful scenery. The grottoes are excavated on the rocky cliff halfway up the mountain. There are two grottoes with a distance of about 50 meters in the middle. This cave was built in 1032 (the tenth year of Song Tiansheng). In 1985, the Wuliangshan Grottoes were listed as a county-level cultural relic protection unit. In 1988, it was listed as an autonomous region-level cultural relic protection unit. In 1991, the people of Pengyang County planted 400 "cultural relics and monuments commemorative trees" around the grottoes.
