Wuqi Town Revolutionary Site

There are several former residences in the former revolutionary site of Wuqi Town. On October 19, 1935, the CPC Central Committee led the Central Red Army through a 25,000-mile long march and arrived at Wuqi Town in northern Shaanxi, successfully ending the Central Red Army's long march. The Red Army won the "tail-cutting" battle in Wuqi Town, wiped out a regiment of the Northeast Army that followed the Central Red Army into the Soviet area, and defeated 3 regiments. On the morning of October 22, 1935, a meeting was held here, at which the task of establishing the Northwest Soviet Area and leading the national revolution was proposed.
