Wutunshang Temple is called "Sangge Xionghuadan Qunjue Forest" in Tibetan, which means auspicious Facaizhou, and is an affiliated temple of Longwu Temple. Founded in 1645 A.D., the temple houses the hair of Sakyamuni, the relics of Master Fazong, various statues, Thangkas and other cultural relics. The temple is located in the birthplace of "Regong Art". Most of the monks are good at painting, clay sculpture, and sculpture, and the old artists there are enthusiastic about teaching apprentices, so it is called "Regong Art School".
The appearance of Wutunshang Temple is not good, and the main buildings are only a large scripture hall, a Sakyamuni Buddha Hall and a Maitreya Buddha Hall. Walking into the scripture hall and Buddhist hall, you can only understand its extraordinaryness when you are dazzled. The lifelike Buddha statues shine with golden light in the dim light. Except for the ground, almost all the spaces are filled with countless murals and Thangkas. .
