Wuwei Temple is located at the east foot of Lanfeng in Cangshan Mountain, five kilometers away from the north gate of the ancient city, and its scale is second only to Dali Three Pagodas Chongsheng Temple. Wuwei Temple has a rich history and culture, because of the idea that doing nothing means doing something, it is also a royal temple and has a high status. In Dali, there were eight royal families including Duan Siying and Duan Sulong who became monks and practiced here.
