Sanhuang Temple in Xiaoyi City, also known as Shengzu Temple, is located in Jiajiazhuang Village in the west of Xiaoyi City. On June 10, 2004, the Shanxi Provincial People's Government announced that it is a provincial-level cultural relic protection unit. It is unknown when the temple was founded. It existed in the Yuan Dynasty. It was expanded and repaired to varying degrees during the Qianlong, Daoguang and Republic of China years. The existing Sanhuang Temple still retains the original structure of the Yuan Dynasty, and the rest were rebuilt in the Qing Dynasty.

There are Sanhuang Hall, Ear Hall, Saishen Theater Building and Yemen. To the east of Yemen, there is a brick ticket entrance to the temple gate (mountain gate), and the rest of the buildings have collapsed and nothing remains. In 2005, the Municipal Bureau of Cultural Relics and the Shanxi Provincial Institute of Ancient Building Protection, based on the idea of complete protection and overall maintenance, adopted some modern materials when necessary on the basis of ensuring "original shape, raw materials, original technology, and original methods". The temple is 59 meters wide from north to south, 84 meters long from east to west, and has two courtyards. The powerful "Three Emperors Temple" is inlaid on the forehead of the mountain gate. There are Lelou and Sanhuangdian on the central axis. The first courtyard is spacious, with a brick gate at the north corner, and a Yemen at the north corner of the second courtyard as the entrance and exit passages for the first and second courtyards. The natural level difference between the two courtyards is relatively large, so there are steps in front of the Yemen to alleviate it. The Sanhuang Hall sits west to east, three rooms wide, four rafters deep, three rafters for the beam frame, and three columns for the front pressing and pulling. The structure of the Yuan Dynasty is still preserved in the Three Emperors Hall. There is a plaque above the gate of the Three Emperors Hall, and it is written that "Three Emperors Temple" was a gift from Liang Minghan, the inspector of Sichuan in October of the tenth year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty. The front of the hall is dedicated to Taiwu Fuxi, Shennong Yandi, and Xuanyuan Huangdi, and the two sides are dedicated to the ten famous ancient doctors. Opposite the main hall, the Lelou sits east to west, with three rooms wide, five rafters deep, and a single eaves rolling roof. The front and rear partitions and ceiling are all composed of painted wood, and there are wooden, brick and stone carvings of Qing Dynasty relics around the entrance. A plaque engraved in the eighth year of the Republic of China hangs above the entrance of the platform, and the inscription "Mirage" was written by Qin Longguang, a famous calligrapher in the late Qing Dynasty. Lelou caisson painted one hundred and eight heroes of Liangshan, with different colors and lifelike. Between the front and the backstage, large pieces of glass are inlaid to add luster to the whole stage. It is sometimes known as a "glass stage", and has formed the fashion of "watching a theater for the sake of the stage" inside and outside the city.
