Xiaozhai Catholic Church is a large European-style castle building in Shanxi Province. It is also known as the Church of Our Lady of the Rose and is the seat of the Catholic Church in Zezhou County. The church was built on a single rock and was built by the Dutch in 1914. The whole building is in Gothic style, the church and the houses are integrated, and there is a city wall more than two feet high outside. In 2007, the movie "Empire of Silver" was filmed in Xiaozhai Church.
