The Xiawan site is located on the secondary platform at the confluence of the Dahe River and the Biluo River about 300 meters northeast of Gonghe Village, Xinsheng Township, Renhe District. It belongs to the upper reaches of the Bakuan River. The accumulation of cultural layers of the ruins is relatively concentrated on the southern slope of the high plateau. Its stratum distribution: the surface is agricultural soil layer, about 50 cm thick; below it is the mountainous yellow soil layer, and then below is the cultural layer, about 30-50 cm thick. The cultural layer contains cultural relics such as braised soil, broken pottery, and polished stone tools. Accompanied by more than ten pieces of polished stone implements, common types include axes, stone sticks, and chisels. Stone chisels are more finely ground, representing a higher level of craftsmanship.
