Xieger Qude Temple is located in Tingri County. It was built in 1385, 7 kilometers away from Zhufeng Hotel in Tingri County. According to legend, before the temple was built, there was a practice cave on the mountain. Master Bang Luozhuo Dengye (born in 1276) and his son predicted that there would be a lecture hall on the mountain when they were practicing in the cave. In 1385, Rhoda Situ Qu said that Rinqin built the Xieger Qude Temple.

After the construction of Xieger Qude Temple, the scale of the building has been continuously expanded, and there are more than 100 monks. Various sects coexist in one temple and live in harmony. The Sakya sect, the Shalu sect, and the Gelug sect each have 7 dratsangs. The temple has 15 halls. The main worship Buddha is a gilded Buddha statue of Sakyamuni (9 meters high).

In 1645, the monastery believed in the Gelug sect in a unified way. The monastery successively served as 28 Khenpos, and was later classified as a subordinate monastery of Sera Monastery in Lhasa. The Tibetan scriptures printed in Qude Temple were once famous in Tibet. The temple now preserves more than 100 precious cultural relics, including handprinted scriptures, scripture plates, thangkas, Xie Ge Zhi, silks and satins, Buddha statues, and magical artifacts. . In 1985, the temple was restored. There are now 4 halls and 40 monks. The main offering Buddha is holding a Vajra Buddha. There is a Jockey Club held in the local area every year, which is very rich in content, including horse racing, dance competitions, antiphonal songs and so on.
