The scenic spot is located in Xiguan, Jiezhou Town, Yuncheng City, about 20 kilometers away from downtown Yuncheng. The scenic spot was first built in the Sui Dynasty, and the existing buildings are basically rebuilt in the Qing Dynasty. The main temple is the main part of the temple, which adopts the traditional central axis symmetry and palace-style architectural pattern. On this central axis, there are Duanmen, Meridian Gate, Yushu Building, Chongning Hall, Chunqiu Building and other main buildings, and there are wooden squares, stone squares, stele pavilions, bell pavilions and east-west corridors on both sides.
After entering the main temple, the first thing you see is the Duanmen Gate, and then the Zhengnan Gate was built during the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty (1522-1566). When you come to the Chongning Hall, which is the main hall of the whole temple, 26 stone pillars with coiled dragons stand in front of the hall. After entering the main hall, the statue of Guan Gong is oncoming, with a solemn expression and an emperor's attire. Under the eaves of the main hall hangs a huge plaque of "Shen Yong" appointed by Emperor Qianlong; on the lintel is also a plaque of Emperor Xianfeng's imperial script "Wan Shi Ren Ji"; on the shrine of Emperor Guan in the hall hangs a gold plaque with Emperor Kangxi's imperial pen "Yi Bing Qian Kun".
The back end of the central axis is the "Spring and Autumn Building", which is named after Guan Gong's "Night Reading of Spring and Autumn". The statue of Guan Gong in military uniform is enshrined in the shrine on the first floor, and the real image of Guan Gong reading "Spring and Autumn" is enshrined in the shrine on the second floor. The structure of "hanging beams and hanging columns" around the building is a treasure of ancient architectural art. ", you can pay more attention to it.
