Xinghai Lake is located in the east of Dawukou District, Shizuishan City, with Shanshui Avenue passing through the lake. The total area is 43 square kilometers, and the lake area is more than 20 square kilometers. It used to be the ruins of the ancient sand lake in the Ming Dynasty, which was originally a wetland on the edge of the city. After rescue treatment, the people of Shizuishan transformed a piece of mud into a lake with rippling blue waves and flying birds and fishes. The scenic spot is composed of six distinctive scenic spots, namely Birdsong, Jinxiyu, Nanshahai, Hexiang Valley, Crescent Sea and Bailuzhou. There are flying sand gulls, flocks of wild ducks, a wide variety of species, green reeds, cattail grass and lotuses, and quiet clear waves.
