Located at the foot of Xishan Mountain in Xining, Xining Botanical Garden is a natural botanical garden rebuilt from a forest farm. The park is divided into two parts: the upper part and the lower part. The upper part is a dense forest farm with more than 1000 kinds of trees such as spruce and Chinese pine. At the foot of the mountain are several theme parks, with different flowers and plants, each with its own characteristics.Most of the tourists visit the botanical garden in the area under the mountain, where there are 9 gardens including bonsai garden, lilac garden, rose garden, pine and cypress garden, and rock garden. Among them, the bonsai garden is the most popular. The garden has a unique shape and is as elegant as a Suzhou garden. The lilac garden is also a highlight.
