The Xinjiang Geology and Mineral Resources Museum was formerly the geological showroom of the Xinjiang Geological Bureau. It is a professional exhibition hall that introduces the achievements of Xinjiang's ore prospecting and popularizes geology and related scientific knowledge.

Stepping into the museum, the floor of the hall is a huge satellite photo of Xinjiang, which clearly shows the mountains and rivers in Xinjiang.
