A landmark building in Urumqi, I have watched movies here since I was a child, and played here since I was a child. The construction of the People's Theater started in August 1955 and was completed in mid-December 1956. A grand opening ceremony was held in January 1957. Since 1957, the People's Theater has gone through nearly half a century of glorious milestones.
