Mani City in Xinzhai was built in 1715, and the founder was the first Jianazong Qiupawen of Jiegu Temple, so it is also called "Janamanidui". Manidui is called "Duobeng" in Tibetan, which means "100,000 scripture stones". In the south of Mani City in Xinzhai is Xinzhai Temple. Mani stones are used to make city walls in other directions, and prayer flags are hung on the high places of the walls.

After more than 300 years of accumulation in Xinzhai Mani City, it is said that there were 2.5 billion pieces of various Mani stones. These Sutra stones are of different sizes and shapes. The big ones are like tabletops, and the small ones are just like eggs. Buddha statues are engraved on them, and the six-character proverbs in Tibetan are common. Especially precious are the tens of thousands of fine Mani stones engraved with laws, calendars, artistic discourses and various Buddha statues. Set of "scriptures".

There are eight white pagodas and a huge prayer wheel on the east side of the Mani pile, and the other side is almost entirely carved with Buddha statues and Mani stones. The carvings are exquisite and the colors are harmonious. There are many stone carving artists living in Xinzhai. They carve devoutly at the foot of Mani City, accumulating good karma for themselves, and praying for all living beings.
