The Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences is located in the tropical forest of Menglun Town, Mengla County, Xishuangbanna. The locals call it the Menglun Botanical Garden. The park is divided into two parts, the east area and the west area. The main attractions are in the west area, which is composed of several small botanical gardens; the east area is a long and narrow tropical rainforest, suitable for walking through. The distance between the east and west areas is relatively long, and the scenic area is connected by battery cars.
There are more than 20 specialized botanical gardens in the west area, among which the "Exotic Flower Garden" is the most popular among tourists. There are flowers that change colors, clock flowers that bloom on time, dancing plants that vibrate with music, and only the trunks are not long. The bachelor tree with leaves and the poisonous arrow tree with blood-stained throat are all kinds of exotic flowers and plants, which are eye-opening.
The east area is a large area of original ecological tropical rainforest, where you can see a large area of wild orchids, strangling trees and other wonders are not difficult to see. Most areas in the forest are paved with viewing trails, please pay attention to protecting plants.
