The Tibet Yak Museum is one of Beijing's aid projects to Tibet. From the natural and scientific yak, history and humanities The three parts of the yak, the spiritual and artistic yak, introduce in detail the origin and domestication of the yak, the Tibetan culture jointly created by the yak and the Tibetan people, and the yak culture in the art works. The Yak Museum is the first yak-themed museum in China and even in the world. The museum not only has the basic functions of a museum such as collection, preservation, display, scientific research, education, and service, but is also a public welfare public cultural institution that preserves yak cultural evidence, disseminates yak cultural knowledge, and explores the interdependence between yaks and human development. The leaders of the State Administration of Cultural Heritage praised the completion of the Yak Museum, which will "fill the gap in China and be unique in the world".
