This is a large revolutionary history memorial. There are a large number of precious historical documents, charts, photos, etc. on display in the memorial hall, which systematically reflect that from October 1935 to March 1948, after the Central Red Army arrived in northern Shaanxi, it established the anti-Japanese national united front, carried out the mass production movement, and rectified the movement. Movement until the final victory in the War of Liberation.
The entrance steps of the memorial hall are divided into three steps, which is a metaphor for the three stages that the Communist Party experienced in Yan'an, the Land Revolution, the War of Resistance Against Japan, and the War of Liberation. On both sides of the front of the main hall, there are large group sculptures of "the foothold of the Red Army's Long March" and "the starting point of winning the national victory", showing Yan'an's historical position in the Chinese revolution. Nearly 2,000 photos and cultural relics are exhibited in the memorial hall, as well as auxiliary exhibits such as models, oil paintings, sculptures and scene restoration, and modern technological means such as sound and light are used to enhance the dynamic effect of the display. The display space is equipped with electronic screens, which play historical materials of the Yan'an period and videos of some important groups and figures visiting Yan'an.
