Yanchi County Museum is located in the southeast corner of Chengguan Town, Yanchi County. It was built in 1951 to commemorate the martyrs from Yanchi who died in the War of Resistance Against Japan and the War of Liberation. The memorial tower, rebuilt in 1978, is in the shape of an octagonal pyramid, 19 meters high, and "revolutionary martyrs are immortal" engraved on the front. In June 1985, Yanchi County Museum was established, with four exhibition halls of calligraphy and painting, historical relics, martyrs' life stories, and revolutionary relics. In September 2018, the Yanchi County Museum was rated as a national third-level museum by the China Association of Museums. In October 2018, it was named the 2018 "National Research and Practice Education Base for Primary and Secondary School Students".
