The tomb of Yang Can is located in Huangfenzui, Yong'an Township, 10 kilometers southeast of Zunyi City. It is a large stone tomb for the joint burial of Yang Can and his wife, the appeasement envoy of Bozhou in the Southern Song Dynasty. The plane layout of Yang Can's tomb is that the north and south chambers are side by side. It is a joint burial tomb for a couple. It is built with white sandstone strips. It ranks first among similar tombs excavated in Southwest China. The owner of the southern tomb is Yang Can, and the owner of the northern tomb is his wife. The structures of the two tomb chambers are roughly the same, consisting of three parts: the tomb door, the front chamber and the back chamber, and there is an aisle in the middle. The characteristic of Yang Can's tomb is that there are rich and exquisite stone carving decorations inside and outside the tomb. It can be roughly divided into five categories: people, animals, flowers and utensils. The carving techniques are mainly high and low relief, and sometimes add Yin line engraving. Some details are painted and pasted with gold. Although most of them have been eroded, the luxurious style of the year can still be vaguely discerned. In the middle of the back wall of the south room is the statue of Yang Can, the owner of the tomb. He wears a long-legged headdress and court clothes, sitting upright with a serious expression. There are dragon pillars on the left and right, and there is a dragon case (coffin bed) in front. On the side walls on both sides, there are symmetrical carvings of civil servants and generals, maids and children, in different shapes and lifelike. There is also an eye-catching "tribute envoy picture". The tribute envoy with curly hair and feet wears only a gauze scarf, a corner skirt underneath, bracelets on the hands and feet, and a tribute plate filled with coral, pearls, and gold and jade on the top of the head. In addition, the reliefs such as "wild deer holding sesame", "phoenix wearing grape", "two lions playing with a ball", "maid opening the door" and other reliefs are all ingenious in conception, exquisite in carving, and full of life flavor. Two rooms and six alcoves, imitation wooden structure, doors, windows, walls, beams, columns and brackets are all architectural patterns at that time, providing rich material materials for the study of ancient buildings.
