Yangbajing Temple is located in Yangbajing Town, Damxung County, Lhasa City.
Yangbajing Temple was built in 1490 by Quezha Yixi, the fourth living Buddha of the Red Hat Department, and it was built in 1791 until it stopped reincarnating in three centuries. It has been continuously expanded and expanded to form a large-scale temple complex. There are many cultural relics in the temple. Thanks to the support from the local forces of Rinpung Pa Dunyue Dorje and the local government of Zangba Khan, the assets of the temple are also very considerable.
Yangbajing Temple was destroyed during the "Cultural Revolution". After the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the Party, the Party's ethnic and religious policies were gradually implemented, and the government allocated funds for restoration in 1985.
