Yangbao Mountain is 10 miles north of the county seat. It is called "the victory of eastern Guizhou" in the literature. As early as the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it was known as the three famous Buddhist mountains in the southwest and the place of Chaoxiang together with Mount Emei in Sichuan and Mount Jizu in Yunnan. During the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty, the Lotus Temple was built on the top of the main peak, Lianhua Mountain. When the incense of the Lotus Temple was at its peak, there were more than 200 monks.

There are grand buildings such as Feifeng Temple in the back mountain. There are more than 200 monks' tombs and pagodas in Guiding, which are rare in the south of the Yangtze River in China. The tower tomb is more than 4 meters long. Qiu Heshi, Qiu Hejia and other great Confucian celebrities in the past dynasties once read here by candlelight at night, leaving many precious calligraphy. According to textual research, in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Lianhua Temple was the Guizhou Seng Gangsi (Seng Gangsi was established during the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty).
