The Tang Stupa of Kaiming Temple in Yangxian County was built in the prosperous Kaiyuan period of the Tang Dynasty, and was repaired once in the Song Dynasty. It has a history of more than 1,000 years. In 1957, it was listed as a key cultural relic under protection in Shaanxi Province. In 2006, it was listed as a national protected cultural relic.
