The existing Yanmen Pass was built in the seventh year of Hongwu (1374) of the Ming Dynasty (many places have been rebuilt in recent years). There are currently three Guanmen (East Gate, West Gate, and Xiaobei Gate), and there is a Goose Tower on the East Gate. On the forehead of Xiaobeimen (that is, the Wengcheng Gate), there are three big characters "Yanmenguan" engraved on the forehead, and bricks are inlaid on both sides with couplets: Three sides rush to the unparalleled place, Jiuzhai respects the first pass, all of which are large calligraphy in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties Titled by Fu Shan.
