Yaqing Temple, the temple was built in 1985 AD. There are more than 10,000 retreat practitioners, most of whom are female practitioners, and they are as famous as Seda Larung Wuming Buddhist College in Kham.
The temple is built on the grassland wetland surrounded by mountains. There are thousands of small wooden houses for believers. The criss-crossing rivers surround the entire temple complex. Every morning or dusk, the smoke is filled, the river shines with golden light, and the sound of chanting sutras It comes from afar with the wind, like the sound of nature, touching the heartstrings.
The temple regulations here are strict, and every person who comes to Yaqing to practice can't help but be strict with himself. Smoking/drinking/meat eating is prohibited in every place, and all local restaurants are vegetarian restaurants. There are also some simple public houses and guest houses in the temple for tourists to stay.
