Yawu Mountain Scenic Area is located in Yuling Town, Lingbao, and is one of the famous Taoist mountains. Its main peak is 2413.8 meters above sea level, which is the highest peak in Henan Province. Yawu Mountain is dominated by steep and steep five peaks, characterized by beautiful mountains and green waters, with Taoist culture as its connotation, and human landscapes such as pagodas, caves, temples, and halls as its charm, especially Yusuotian, which is above 1,200 meters above sea level. The lake, with a water area of ​​75,000 square meters, is a rare alpine lake in the Central Plains. The rich cultural landscape of Yawu Mountain has a history of thousands of years. It was rebuilt in the Ming Dynasty and continued in the Qing Dynasty. There are more than 20 temples and palaces left behind. According to legend, Emperor Zhenwu once practiced here. On the mountain, there are also the remains of Yang Silang and Mu Guiying, the famous anti-Liao generals of the Song Dynasty, who stationed troops in the camps, and there are the places where Li Zicheng, the leader of the peasant uprising army of the Ming Dynasty, trained troops for the East Chuang King, South Chuang King, and West Chuang King. At the foot of the mountain, there are auxiliary scenic spots such as the Shrine of Yang Zhen, the "Four Knowers" of the Han Dynasty, the tomb of Prince Li, the son of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, and the Lecture Office of Wu Daozi. According to legend, Emperor Zhenwu once practiced Taoism on this mountain when he became a monk. Therefore, large-scale temple fairs are held every year in June of the lunar calendar. The main attractions are Nantianmen, Yuhuangdian, Tianyi Palace, Yunxiaodian, Jinshanmen, Yusuoguan and so on.
