The Yellow River Iron Bridge, also known as Zhongshan Bridge, is located in Chengguan District. It is a landmark building in Lanzhou and a must-see place for tourists to visit Lanzhou. The iron bridge is more than two hundred meters long and about seven or eight meters wide. It maintains the black iron frame bridge body when it was built more than a hundred years ago, which is very simple. During the repair process of the past century, five large iron arches have been erected on the bridge, which are beautiful. On the south side of the iron bridge, there are three golden characters of "Zhongshan Bridge" and an ancient stone tablet. Many tourists come here to take photos every day as a souvenir of their visit to Lanzhou.

This iron bridge was built in the late Qing Dynasty. It was an earlier perennial bridge over the Yellow River at that time. The iron bridge was built and constructed by Germans, and all the materials were shipped from Germany.

Walking on the iron bridge, below is the quietly flowing Yellow River, and the scenery on both sides is also very good. On the south side of the iron bridge is Binhe Road, a neighborhood with a better environment in Lanzhou, while on the north is the famous Baita Mountain. There are many buildings and historical sites on the mountain. It is very beautiful to climb the mountain to overlook the iron bridge and take a panoramic view of Lanzhou.

The iron bridge at night is another beautiful scene. At this time, the colorful lights all over the bridge body will be lit up, and the outline of the entire iron bridge is bright and clear. On one side of the bridge are the colorful lights of the bustling streets on the Bund of the Yellow River, and on the other side, all the ornamental lights on Baita Mountain are also lit up. It is very beautiful and is a good place to shoot the night scene of Lanzhou.
