When you arrive at Shuangdi Village, you can enter the Yew Grand Canyon through the Baijing Ancient Road. The total length of the canyon is about 32 kilometers, and the valley body is deep and dangerous. There are 25 turns in the 20-kilometer valley section. Because tens of thousands of yew trees, a national protected plant, grow on both sides of the canyon, it is named the Yew Grand Canyon. And because there is a Mill River flowing through the canyon, the locals call it the Mill River Canyon.

The canyon is deep and full of water, and the scenery is beautiful. In addition to the Baijing ancient road and the luxuriant yew, there are also scenic spots such as Heimaogou, the former site of Dongshuangnao Hydropower Station, and the stone steps of Seventy-two Turns. The natural scenery in the valley is beautiful, the original atmosphere is rich, the lakes and mountains are reflected, the cliffs on both sides of the river are cut, the strange rocks are towering, and the shape is peculiar. There are not only red rocks standing thousands of feet high, but also beautiful blue peaks and clear springs flowing.

The Shuangdi-Yew Grand Canyon-Mawuzhai-Baodu-Baligou line is also one of the classic routes for hiking, and the whole journey takes about 2-3 days.
