Yi Nationality October Solar Calendar Cultural Park is located on Sun Calendar Avenue in the northern suburb of Chuxiong City, about 3 kilometers from the city center. It is the only Chinese Yi Nationality Cultural Park in my country. The park is marked by the October solar calendar sculpture square, a cultural treasure of the Yi nationality. It integrates ethnic customs display and art exchanges. It is a comprehensive cultural park and a national 2A-level tourist attraction.
The main attractions of the Yi Nationality October Solar Calendar Cultural Park include the October Solar Calendar Sculpture Altar, Torch Square, Gourd Sea, Gourd Promenade, National Sports Arena, etc. There are Yi folk customs and singing and dancing performances such as welcoming guests and weddings every day in the park.
