The Yi Village is located in the Yunnan Ethnic Village, covering an area of ​​more than 50 mu. The relief wall of three tigers and the shape of the tiger mountain show the characteristics of the tiger culture of the Yi nationality. On the totem pole in the center of the solar calendar square, there are images of the sun, tiger, fire and eight trigrams, surrounded by 10 black and white faces of different moon shapes. There are 12 stone carvings of the zodiac distributed around the outer circumference of the square. The "Tu Zhang Fang" building complex built on the mountain truly reproduces the Yi people's outlook on life living in harmony with nature. There are chieftain courtyard, cultural building, educated youth room, wine shop and weaving and embroidery room in the building. There are bullrings, tea gardens, and folk sports facilities such as swings in the village. The festivals of the Yi people mainly include the Torch Festival, the Year of the Yi Nationality, the worship of the Benzhu, the Mizhi Festival, and the Dancing Song Festival. The "Torch Festival" is a common and solemn traditional festival in the Yi area, usually held on the evening of June 24th to 26th in the lunar calendar. Every time the Torch Festival comes, men, women and children of the Yi nationality, dressed in festive costumes, play livestock sacrifice spirit cards, dance, sing, race horses and wrestle to their heart's content. At night, hold a torch, circle around the houses and fields, and then gather together to light a bonfire and dance lightly.
