The bridge is located on the Yili River in Yining City. The water flow under the bridge is fast and the trees are dense along the river. The north bank of the bridge is the urban area of Yining, and the south bank of the bridge is the county seat of Chabuchar Xibo Autonomous County. The bridge type of the Yili River Bridge is a reinforced concrete double-curved arch bridge. The lower part is a reinforced concrete high pile cap, and a steel plate icebreaker is specially installed to prevent the impact of huge ice blocks on the bridge when the ice melts in spring. The whole bridge has a total of nine holes, and the straight bridge deck is supported by nine arch holes and nine giant pillars to cross the natural moat, which is very majestic. There are sidewalks on both sides of the bridge deck and patterned cement railings. Visitors can go to the bridge for viewing.
