Yili River Scenic Area is a tributary on the right bank of the Jinsha River, with a total length of 122 kilometers. It belongs to the Jinsha River system in the Yangtze River Basin. Six townships including Daibu Town, Xinjie Township, Dahai Township, Jinzhong Town, Nagu Town and Laochang Township flow into the Jinsha River at the junction of Huize County and Qiaojia County, with 59 tributaries and a drainage area of 2,558 square meters square kilometers.
