The original temple is located in the "Gongbei" Pavilion outside the South Gate of Yinchuan, and its scale is small. In 1916, the site of the temple was moved into Nanguan, and a large temple with classical style was built. In the 1960s, the temple was completely destroyed in the turmoil. In 1981, funds were raised to rebuild at this site.

This is the largest Muslim temple in Yinchuan. Inside are local Muslim believers who come here to worship. 1. Nanguan Mosque is one of the largest mosques in the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region in northern China. It is located at No. 288 Yuhuangge South Street, the old city of Yinchuan. This Nanguan Mosque is the largest mosque in Yinchuan, but even though it is the largest, I don't think it is too spacious. When we arrived at noon in midsummer, there was no one there. It feels like a private room. The ticket is 10 yuan per person. If there is a guide, the ticket will not be charged for Muslims. The original Nanguan Mosque was destroyed during the ten-year turmoil. The temple we see now was rebuilt on the site in 1981. It is said that it was expanded and renovated two years ago. Now the mosque has received many central leaders and leaders of more than 100 countries, so it still has a reputation. At first glance, there are three large green domes. The whole building has only two tones of green and white, with a crescent moon hanging on the top. The atmosphere of Islamic culture is quite strong. Walking through a long corridor is the exhibition hall dedicated to introducing the mosque, where you can see a lot of text introductions, physical exhibits, etc. about the development of the Nanguan Mosque. In fact, I don't know much about Islam and Muslims, and my impression of Muslims is basically that they don't eat pork.
