The ancient city of Pingluo is located in the northern part of the Ningxia Plain, which is "the south of the Yangtze River". The beautiful ancient city remains with many places of interest. In the southwest of the county, there is a natural freshwater lake, Yinma Lake. According to folklore, the origin of the name of Yinma Lake is that Emperor Kangxi drank horses here, so it is also called Kangxi Lake. Yinma Lake covers an area of about two hectares, with a water depth of about 3 meters. The lake is clear and bright with rippling blue waves.
