Youjiang Museum of Nationalities is located in Baise Uprising Memorial Park on the top of Houyinglong Mountain in Baise City, Guangxi. It was built in 1985. The museum covers an area of 22.7 mu, with a construction area of 4457 square meters. The building adopts the architectural form of Zhuang classical corridor courtyard with double eaves. The museum has collected a large number of historical relics of ethnic minorities. It has 8 exhibition halls with an exhibition area of 1507 square meters and more than 400 sets of exhibits. The display of the history and culture of ethnic minorities and the display of ethnic folk culture are the two major exhibition contents of Youjiang Museum of Nationalities.
The main content of the historical and cultural exhibition includes the local history of Baise from 800,000 years ago to modern times. It reflects the civilization development process of Baise since ancient times. The prehistoric Paleolithic choppers, stone cores, stone flakes, and pointed objects displayed in the museum reflect the traces of ancestors living on this land.
