Yuanlong Pavilion is located in Shuidu Village, Heshun Township, 4 kilometers southeast of Tengchong County. There is a Longtan beside the village, surrounded by mountains on three sides, and a dike as a corridor. The ancient banyan trees on the embankment are shaded, and the water in the pool washes white clouds. The scenery is very beautiful. Yuanlong Pavilion is built next to the water and mountains. Step by step, there are Dragon King Hall, Sanguan Hall, Yuhuang Hall, Kui Pavilion, Guanyin Hall, Baichilou and other halls. Along the central axis, the building complex consists of Shanmen, Dragon King Hall, Sanguan Hall, Kuixing Pavilion, Guanyin Hall, Baichi Building and wing rooms and other auxiliary buildings.

The hall, loft and platform gradually rise with the mountain, and the momentum is grand. The wing rooms, pavilions and platforms on both sides are arranged symmetrically. Its main building, Kuixing Pavilion, is a hexagonal wooden building with a pointed roof and double eaves, and the pillars and pillars under the eaves are exquisitely carved and painted. In front of the pavilion, the Longtan stone railing protects the pool and the water is as clear as a mirror. Looking at the reflection of the hall and pavilion by the railing, it looks like a dragon palace. In 1984, it was announced as the first batch of key cultural relics protection units at the county level.

Yuanlong Pavilion was built in the twenty-seventh year of Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty (1762 A.D.), with carved beams and painted buildings.

The main building, Kuixing Pavilion, is an important eaves and wooden structure building with a hexagonal pointed roof. The pillars and pillars under the eaves are exquisitely carved and painted. Two dragons playing with pearls are very exquisite. There is a pair of couplets hanging on the window lattice outside the pavilion: "Yuanjing contains the Big Dipper, and the dragon veins rejuvenate the Tianshu." It contains the word "Yuanlong", which should be the name of this pavilion. The statue of Kuixing is enshrined in the pavilion, with red hair and blue face, holding a bucket in one hand and a pen in the other, with one foot tilted back and the other standing on the head.

Yuanlong Pavilion rests on the green hills at the back and faces the deep pool in front, surrounded by towering ancient trees and wild flowers. The water in the pool is as clear as a mirror, surrounded by stone railings. Leaning on the railing to watch the reflection of the halls and pavilions, it looks like a dragon palace. In front of the pool is a spacious platform, on which two big trees are planted, one is camphor and the other is banyan. The crown of the tree is like two umbrellas covering the platform. Under the platform is the lotus pond. In midsummer, the lotus blooms gracefully, adding a lot to the landscape of Yuanlong Pavilion.
