Yuanmou People's Museum is located in Zhongxing Street, Yuanma Town, Yuanmou County, Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. It is a historical museum. The museum was formerly known as the Yuanmou Man Exhibition Hall, which was established in January 1985. The new Yuanmou Museum was officially opened to the public on January 15, 2010. It covers an area of 32 mu, with a building area of 5389.6 square meters. The building is a two-story frame structure and a basket-style building.
