The full name of Yuanrong Temple is Yuanrong Wuyi Temple. It is located in Xiuwu County, Jiaozuo City. It was built in the seventh year of Yonghe in the Eastern Jin Dynasty (351). The so-called "Yuanrong" means "to get rid of paranoia and achieve perfect integration"; "Wuyi" means "no hindrance to the mind, no hindrance to action". .

Yuanrong Temple has eleven courtyards, including nineteen halls, two pagoda courtyards, seven halls, two courtyards, one hall and seventeen springs. Visitors can see many cultural relics and historic sites built in the temple in the past dynasties, including the 250 cm high sandstone Lushena sitting Buddha in the Sui Dynasty, the white jade Pizhi sitting Buddha in the Ming Dynasty, the seven-level white jade pagoda in the Tang Dynasty and the Tang Dynasty ligers, Stone tigers, stone statues, white jade horses, altars, Manjusri roars of the Ming Dynasty, water animals of the Qing Dynasty, etc.

There are hundreds of exotic flowers and herbs in the temple, and dozens of ancient trees over a hundred years old, including ancient persimmon trees over 350 years old and ancient pagoda trees over 320 years old. Seeing these ancient trees that have lived for hundreds of years and are still green, I lament their exuberant life. They stand here, as if telling people the vicissitudes and legends of this thousand-year-old temple.

Tourists can also visit the Dangyangyu porcelain kiln site about 800 meters away from the ancient temple, and take a look at this folk porcelain kiln built in the Song Dynasty.
