The "Yuantong Flower Tide" landscape with a long history and famous at home and abroad is located in Yuantong Mountain (Kunming Zoo) in Kunming. It is distributed on the foothills of scattered high and low. It is composed of cherry blossom area and crabapple area, forming a continuous forest. Because the flowering period and flower color of cherry blossoms and crabapple are relatively close, everyone is used to collectively refer to them as cherry blossoms.
Both the cherry blossom area and the crabapple area are distributed in the middle of the park, mainly planted with Yunnan cherry blossoms, Japanese cherry blossoms and hanging silk crabapple. In March of Yangchun, thousands of cherry blossoms and begonias are in full bloom, and they are as bright as red clouds. It has become a traditional custom of Kunming people to climb Yuantong Mountain and enjoy the flowers in spring.
