Yunfeng Temple, also known as Baofu Rock, is located in the hinterland of Mianshan Mountain. It was originally called Baofu Temple. It was built during the Zhenguan period of Tang Dynasty (627-649), rebuilt in the eleventh year of Zhengde in Ming Dynasty (1516), and repaired repeatedly during the Qing Dynasty.
The existing ancient buildings include Kongwang Hall, Thousand Buddha Hall, Jietui Temple, Wulong Hall, Mingwang Hall, Maming Hall, Arhat Hall, Vision Bodhisattva Hall, monk's room, guest house and so on. There are more than 70 exquisite painted sculptures from past dynasties preserved in the temple, including 3 real statues with bones.
