The Yunnan Grand Theater is located near the new building of the Yunnan Provincial Museum, with one basement floor and four floors above the ground. The whole building is like a woven hat "the crown of Yunnan". There is a 790-seat concert hall and a 440-seat multifunctional small theater. The roofs of the three halls are in the shape of gemstones, symbolizing the three gemstones on the "Crown of Yunnan", as well as auxiliary supporting parts.
