The Tomb of the Tibetan King is located in Qiongjie County in the southern Shannan area. It is a group of mausoleums of various generations of Tubo Zanpu from the 7th to the 9th century AD. It is a large-scale royal tomb preserved for Tibet. Each mausoleum is sealed with tall soil, which is a high platform and hilly tomb made of soil. It is difficult to determine the number of king's tombs, but there are eight or nine tombs that can be seen. The large tomb near the river is said to be the tomb of Songtsan Gampo, and adjacent to it is the tomb of Chisong Detsen, with a huge merit tablet beside the tomb. During the slave uprising that occurred after the middle of the 9th century, the tombs of Zanpu were all destroyed, and the current tomb of the Tibetan king is just a tomb of clothes.
A pair of stone lions and two steles remain in the tomb of the Tibetan king. Among them, the Chisong Dezan stele unearthed in 1984 is 7.18 meters high, with relief patterns such as cloud dragons, four snakes, flying sky, sun and moon on the surface of the stele, and engraved with 59 lines of ancient Tibetan in praise of Chisong Dezan; Yes, except for the broken left eye, the lion is relatively complete. The stone lion is 1.55 meters high, with concise carving and vivid image.
