Zhangliang Temple is a tourist attraction in southern Shaanxi. It is located about 17 kilometers northwest of Liuba County, Hanzhong City. It is surrounded by mountains and rivers, simple and elegant. According to legend, Zhang Liang, one of the "Three Heroes in the early Han Dynasty", retired bravely after assisting Liu Bang to achieve his imperial career, and lived here in seclusion under the name "Bigu". Later generations admired his strategy of "being wise and protecting one's life" and his high style of "successful success", and built temples here to worship him. Because he was named "Liuhou", it was named "Liuhou Temple", commonly known as "Zhangliang Temple". According to legend, Zhangliang Temple was first built in the late Eastern Han Dynasty, and most of the existing ancient buildings were built in the Qing Dynasty. Zhangliang Temple is located on the side of National Highway 316, and when you cross the national highway, you can see a green brick archway. The ancient buildings of Zhangliang Temple are built on the mountain. Zhang Liangdian is the oldest and most well-preserved building in the current building complex. There is a gold-plated statue of Zhang Liang in the hall. There are north and south gardens on both sides of the main hall. Visitors can follow the path from the southwest of the north garden to the teaching building on the top of the mountain. There is also the third cave of Taoism on the mountain. When I arrived at Zhangliang Temple, I had to look for the "guaiguai bamboo". The part of the bamboo below one meter is crooked, and the part above one meter is all straight. There are a lot of couplets on the two-second plaque, and there are many existing stone tablets and cliffs, many of which are written by famous masters. For example, the "First Mountain" stele written by Mi Fu, a calligrapher in the Northern Song Dynasty. There is a concentrated display in the Quota Stele Gallery in the North Garden, and calligraphy lovers can go to watch it.
