Located in the north of Chengdong Street, Changwu County, Xianyang, Zhaoren Temple was built by Emperor Taizong Li Shimin of the Tang Dynasty (627-649 AD) to commemorate the soldiers who died in battle with the warlords Xue Ju and Xue Rengao. The main hall of Zhaoren Temple is a national key cultural relics protection unit.

Zhaoren Temple sits north to south and is built from connected small courtyards. There are three gates, stele pavilions, main halls, and east and west side verandahs. There are three characters "Zhaoren Temple" on the forehead of the gate in the temple. The main existing building in the temple is a three-room main hall with nine beams and eighteen loads. There are no columns inside, and all are stacked by the surrounding beams, that is, the popular eight trigrams hanging roof method. The structure is quite special, which is rare in ancient buildings in our country. There is a Tang stele in the temple, "The Stele of Zhaoren Temple in Youzhou", written by Zhu Zishe, which is said to be written by Yu Shinan.

Now there is a Changwu County Museum in Zhaoren Temple as a local historical display. There are 3 showrooms in the museum, with more than 2,600 pieces of cultural relics in possession, which are divided into three parts: historical display, stone carving art, and architectural art.
