Zhegucuo is the holy lake of Bon religion, the original place of Tibetan mastiff and the arena of wild deer. Zhegu Tibetan means "Crescent Moon" because of its shape like a machete. The lake, together with Yalaxiangbu Mountain, one of the famous sacred mountains in Tibet, is a place of pilgrimage in ancient southern Tibet and has a mysterious color.
