Zhenshan Village is a small village with a majority of Buyi villagers located in Shiban Town, the southwest suburb of Guiyang. It is located on the peninsula in the middle section of Huaxi Reservoir. Surrounded by water on three sides, Zhenshan Village has beautiful and quiet scenery. In the village, you can see stone towers, city walls, stone houses and many daily utensils hewn from stones. The features of the Buyi people are strong.

Zhenshan Village was first built in the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty. The whole village was built on the mountain. There are many low stone houses lying on top of each other in the village. Stone towers, city walls, stone roads and other buildings are still well preserved in the village. Living utensils such as pots, troughs, and cylinders are also chiseled from stones, and the whole village looks like a stone city.

There are about 200 households in Zhenshan Village. The village is divided into upper village and lower village. Most of the villagers are Buyi and some are Miao. Their lifestyle has become the target of today's tourists. When you come to Zhenshan Village, you can visit the Buyi family, taste the Buyi cuisine, watch the Buyi singing and dancing performances, or go to the pier by the Huaxi Lake to take a boat tour of the lake.


In addition, there is a martial arts temple built in the Ming Dynasty in Zhenshan Village. On the hill on the right side of Li Village across the water from Zhenshan Village, there is the tomb of General Li Renyu of the Ming Dynasty. Since then, many villagers in Zhenshan Village and Li Village are descendants of General Li.

It is worth mentioning that every year on the twelfth, thirteenth and fourteenth day of the first lunar month, the Buyi and Miao people in Zhenshan Village hold the "Flower Dance Field", the Miao people's "April 8th" and the Buyi people's "June Sixth Song Festival". , is a more lively festival in Zhenshan Village.
