The middle peak is located in the center of the east, west and south peaks, slightly lower than the three peaks, with an altitude of 2042.5 meters. The forest on the peak is verdant and the environment is quiet. There is a Taoist house at the top of the peak, named "Jade Girl Temple". It is said that it was the place where Qin Mugong and his daughter practiced jade in the Spring and Autumn Period, so the peak is also called Yunv Peak.
According to historical records, Qin Mu Gongnv Nongyu, who has a peerless appearance and is proficient in melody, had a dream with Xiao Shi, a hermit from Huashan, who sang in harmony overnight. Therefore, most of the landscapes in Zhongfeng are related to the story of Xiao Shi Nongyu. Such as Yunv Cliff, Yunv Cave, Yunv Stone Horse, Yunv Shampoo and so on.
The Jade Girl Temple was built at the top of the peak. Legend has it that Qin Mugong came to Huashan in pursuit of his daughter, but found nothing, so he had to build a temple to commemorate it in despair. In the temple, there was originally a stone statue of a jade girl, as well as a dragon bed, a phoenix crown and a xiapei, all of which were later destroyed by natural disasters and man-made disasters. The current temple was rebuilt for later generations, and the statue of the jade girl was rebuilt in 1983. Its appearance is dignified, elegant, simple and rigorous. There are also landscapes such as stone turtles, rootless trees, and sacrificial trees on the peak. The rumors related to them are full of wit and wit, which enrich the connotation of Zhongfeng from different angles and add to the magic and beauty of Zhongfeng.
