Zhongtiao Mountain is a forest area with many tree species in Shanxi. The forest area is 24,700 hectares, with a coverage rate of about 40%. And there are precious Eucommia, black starling, kiwi and sumac. A primeval forest with an area of about 800 hectares has been found, and it is well preserved. It is the only remaining piece on the Loess Plateau in Northwest China.
