Zhuolong Valley is located in a virgin forest six kilometers south of Zhamu Town, Bomi County. "Zhuolong" means "Holy Land" in Tibetan, which shows its status in the minds of Bomi Tibetans.
Zhuolonggou is a place dedicated to "tree burial" of children under one year old and eminent monks. As for the method of tree burial, even Tashi Nyima, who is familiar with most places in Tibetan areas, has never heard of it before. According to the testimony of experts in Bomi County, only Zhuolonggou in the Tibetan area has tree burials. Because it is a holy place, ordinary people are not allowed to enter.
