Zixi Mountain Scenic Area is located in the west of Chuxiong City, 25 kilometers away from Chuxiong City, beside the 320 National Highway. The entire mountain range of Zixi Mountain is in the shape of a crescent moon turning from southeast to west to north. The main peak is 2,500 meters above sea level. As early as the Song Dynasty, there was a saying of "sixty-six forests, seventy-seven nunnery, and eighty-eight temples". It was a famous Buddhist resort at that time. Now Zixi Mountain has been turned into a forest park, which is a good place for sightseeing and summer vacation.

Zixi Mountain radiates around Wansongling as the center. The scenic area has undulating peaks and dense forests. Ziding Temple on Zixi Mountain has a mountain gate, Tianwang Hall, Daxiong Hall, Tibetan scripture building, etc.; from Zixi Peak to the south along the ridge, there are drums, monk chessboard, viewing platform, etc. The viewing platform is to enjoy the surrounding scenery and the sun. ideal place to get out.
